Dover Bay Residence

Amidst the Cabinet and Selkirk mountain ranges, this northwest contemporary cliff hanger on Tank Hill, with vast views of Lake Pend Oreille, provides the perfect vacation spot for its owners. The home provided plenty of challenges, not only due to the steepness of the slope, but also the overall height of the project – 60+ feet from the top peak of the roof to the ground lake side. Designed by Sayler Owens Kerr Design Studio (formerly Jon R Sayler Architect), the decks provide a birds’ eye view of the world below. An open-riser staircase, the cliffside tram from one of the patios to the dock and a grand great room with floor-to-ceiling windows are just a few of the eye-catching features.
