At the clients’ request, the inside and outside living spaces of this classic northwest home were designed to focus on year-round enjoyment of a spectacular view of Lake Coeur d’Alene. We had the privilege of integrating some of the clients’ antiques and mementos, acquired over the years, into the construction of the home. Behind a large antique vault door, guests are surprised to find a 1920s-style wine cellar. Other elements of note are the great room timber trusses and roof design, a cozy den, an outdoor dining space and a separate gathering spot around an outdoor fire pit.
